MakeMyTVDumb sells informational guides designed to help consumers understand and adjust privacy, connectivity, Automatic Content Recognition ("ACR"), advertising, voice, and related settings on televisions and streaming devices.

You may purchase and download a guide without creating a MakeMyTVDumb account.

Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe.

MakeMyTVDumb does not receive or store your full credit or debit card number.

Our payment processor may collect information necessary to process your transaction, prevent fraud, issue refunds, and comply with applicable laws. Your interaction with the payment processor is also governed by that provider's privacy policy and terms.

MakeMyTVDumb does not intentionally collect or maintain:

• your television viewing history;
• ACR data from your television;
• recordings from your television's microphone;
• precise location data;
• contact lists;
• advertising profiles;
• information about other devices in your home;
• browsing histories from your television;
• passwords for your television or streaming accounts; or
• information for sale to data brokers or advertisers.

We do not need this information to sell you a PDF, so we don't want it.

Like virtually any website, our hosting, security, payment, or infrastructure providers may automatically process limited technical information necessary to deliver and protect the website, such as IP addresses, browser information, timestamps, or security logs.

We do not use this information to build advertising profiles about visitors.

We do not use third-party behavioral advertising trackers, advertising pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies.

MakeMyTVDumb does not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies.

Essential technologies may be used when technically necessary to operate the website, process a purchase, prevent fraud, or maintain security.
